Marquette said goodbye to Liam McMorrow last week.  The seven foot center sat on the bench for the entire 2008-2009 season, then once again sat out this past season.  Tennessee Tech is happy to have McMorrow.  Liam was a mult-sport athelete in high school, when the idea of basketball popped into his head.  His talent on the court has yet to be focused, but Tennessee Tech is very happy to help him with that.   

CBE Classic Tournament November 2010 

The CBE Classic is a tournament that rolls around every November.  This season, Marquette will play host to a few games.  Duke, Kansas State, Gonzaga, and Marquette are the home courts for this event.  Did you know that Marquettte won the CBE Classic back in 2006?  Marquette Tickets for the Bradley Center games are due out any day now.  Call us for the best Bradley Center tickets.   

The first five Marquette Basketball home games bring the followoing opponents to the Bradley Center:

Jamil Wilson Now A Marquette Basketball Fan

Jamil Wilson agreed to play for Marquette in 2010.  Originally from Racine Wisconsin Wilson longed to be close to home.  Marquette Basketball fans are happy to have him here.  In order to play for Marquette, he must sit out one season. 

Jamil Wilson's departure was disappointing to Oregon Ducks fans.  He just didn't feel like he fit in at Oregon.  A new coaching staff is on the way in at Oregon, and Wilson took the opportunity to move on.  He joins three other Ducks players to leave the program.  Wilson is originally from Racine Wisconsin.  Buzz Williams is happy to have him on the upcoming roster.

The 2010-11 Marquette Big East Home opponents will include Notre Dame, Connecticut, and Seaton Hall.  As of today, the schedule has yet to be announced.  July 12 is the day that we will see how the games lay out. The games listed below do not include non-conference match ups. Vander Blue the Marquette Freshman Prepares for USA Tournament

Buzz Williams will get to see if this young Golden Eagles freshman can keep up with his equals in the USA Basketball Men's Under 18 team.  The tournament runs through the end of June, and it should be a good learning lesson for this young man.  Vander Blue was excited to learn that he was selected as one of 12 players.
