Lambeau Field is also known as the Frozen Tundra in Green Bay Wisconsin. The Green Bay Packers have one of the most famous stadiums in pro sports. It started its life as New City Stadium, back in 1957. Lambeau Field is up to date, modern, and truly one of the best places to see a football game.
The original bowl is 60 rows high. There are no chairs in the original bowl, just benches with numbers to tell you where to sit. You have to squeeze in closely when you sit on the benches. There are now nine rows of benches above the original bowl. The addition was built as part of a major renovation. The Packer's Hall of Fame is now inside of Lambeau Field. There are better skyboxes, indoor clubs, and wide seating that still make Lambeau field a great place to attend an NFL game.
Over 80,000 people are waiting for the chance to own season tickets to the Green Bay Packers. So many people want to experience the best game day atmosphere in all of pro sports.
Leroy Butler, who was the recipient of a lateral from The Minister of Defense, invented the Lambeau Leap. That play started what is now copied in stadiums all over the country. The band that used to resided in the corner end zone is now long gone. The recorded music still fires up the fans.
Other events that Lambeau Field may host from time to time includes hockey and snowmobile races. To date, there has never been a musical concert on the Frozen Tundra.
