Milwaukee Bucks tickets

The Milwaukee Bucks are part of the NBA's Eastern Conference. U.S. Senator and Wisconsinite Herb Kohl currently owns the team.  It all started back in the late 1960's.  Currently, they are managed by John Hammond and coached by Scott Skiles. Throughout their career, they have only one championship to speak of, and that came in 1971.

The Bucks have had some very influential players on their team throughout the years. Brian Winters had a 9-year career with the team.  Winters had 2 appearances in the NBA All Star game, and he later played on six different playoff teams. The trade that brought Winters to Milwaukee also Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Abdul-Jabbar played for the Bucks from 1969 to 1975. During his complete career (1969-1989), he scored 38,387 points, being the highest scorer of any player in the league. He won six MVP awards and was best known for his "skyhook" shot.  His towering height made that shot nearly impossible to block.

The Milwaukee Bucks originally played at the Milwaukee Arena, which is now known as the U.S. Cellular Arena. They housed the Bucks twenty years, and the venue seated just short of 13,000 people. In October of 1988, The Bradley Center opened, and it became the new home for Milwaukee Bucks. The seating capacity in The Bradley Center is higher than that of the Milwaukee Arena.  Now just over 18,000 basketball fans can get Milwaukee Bucks Tickets!

The Bucks best season was in 1971 where they went 66-16 in the regular-season, and won post-season games against San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Baltimore. This allowed them to win the title. Overall, the Bucks are a solid, young team.  Scott Skiles hopes to rise above the injury-plagued season of 2008.
